Create a wax memory: When burning for the first time, let the candle reach the edge to ensure an even burn and prevent tunneling. (at least 2 hours) This will extend the burn time and improve performance for future uses.

Regulate the burn time: Prolonged burning can lead to wick problems, excessive soot, and uneven burning. Always extinguish, let cool, and trim the wick before relighting.

Never leave unattended: Always keep a lit candle out of sight, out of reach of children, and do not move it while it is burning. Before leaving the room or going to bed, extinguish the flame and place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable materials.

Wick maintenance: Trim the wick to 1/4 inch (5 mm) before each use to ensure a steady flame and minimize smoke. We recommend using a soft, damp cloth to clean soot stains after the candle has cooled. These careful cleaning steps will help preserve its beauty and usability.

Simple vessel shape with a smooth, stone-like finish is a unique piece for your space. Each ALUNA vessel is a one-of-a-kind creation, marked by individual bubbles on its surface and base. The variations in color and texture are inherent to the artisanal process of Jesmonite and should not be considered defects. These characteristics emphasize the handmade nature of each piece.

To clean the vessel, first ensure it is cool and place it in the freezer for an hour to harden the wax, then gently scrape it off with a wooden or plastic spatula and wipe away any residue. Next, dust the surface with a soft cloth or brush to remove loose soot, followed by using a wet wipe or a mild soap solution to tackle stains, avoiding harsh chemicals. Also you can gently scrub with a soft sponge, ensuring not to over-wet vessel, and dry immediately with a soft cloth. If stubborn stains remain after 24 hours, lightly sand the affected areas with fine-grit sandpaper under running water, and then rinse the vessel thoroughly to remove any residue. Finally, dry the vessel completely and inspect for any remaining stains, repeating the cleaning process if necessary.
