PRODUCTS AND DDELIVERY
Our candles are made from premium pure soy wax or a high-quality soy–coconut blend. Our home décor pieces and candle vessels are crafted from a high-quality, water-based composite that contains pure acrylic resin. This material is free from solvents and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Our home décor products are designed primarily as decorative pieces. They are suitable only for serving dry foods. After contact with dry foods, rinse the piece with warm water and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Due to the material used, slight marks may appear after contact with certain foods. To keep the finish looking its best, avoid contact with oily or wet foods and do not place items in ovens, microwaves, or dishwashers. Although our products are sturdy and durable, handle them with care—similarly to glass or ceramics.
For candles in jars, let the first burn reach the edges (at least 2 hours). This extends the overall burn time and improves performance next time. Manage burn times: very long burns can cause wick issues, excess soot, and uneven burning. Before each relight, extinguish the candle, allow it to cool, and trim the wick to 5 mm to ensure a steady flame and minimize smoke.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Yes. Our pieces are made from a water-based, non-toxic material free of solvents and VOCs. Each item is hand-polished and finished with a water-repellent protective seal for added durability and suitability for dry food contact. We still recommend using them primarily for decorative purposes. To preserve quality, do not expose items to direct heat or open flame.
Yes—this is completely natural. Subtle air bubbles may appear on the surface or base, as well as slight variations in color and texture. These are not defects; they are a result of the making process. The material combines a reactive mineral base with a pure water-based resin; when poured into molds, tiny air bubbles can form and contribute to each piece’s unique character.

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible—no later than five business days after delivery. Send photos of the damage to info@vaiya.sk so we can assist with a replacement.
